Gala Prize Trips
Llama Hike and Lunch
George and Jacquie Roche were the proud buyers of the llama hike at the 2009 Gala. They invited four friends Pat, Marcia, Cathy , and Ron.  to join them.  
Jack London State Park was our destination.  The weather was wonderful and the company  outstanding.  Mega, Cygnus, And Dillon carried  water, backpacks, and appetizers.  Danielle Wagoner of Wagonertail  Llamas provided the llamas.   Her Mom, Linda and friend Jeanne wrangled the llamas and provided appetizers, wine and delicious gourmet lunch.
A leisure hike up to a picturesque lake was followed by appetizers and wine.
Back down the trail to the London's cottage where our guests toured the beautiful grounds while the wranglers prepared lunch.
More food, more wine and a short course on llamas, their uses and fiber concluded a fabulous day.
All involved said they had a great time and would love to do it again next year.
