This year Rio Vista CARE celebrates 25 years of service to 7,934 children and families of our Delta communities.  You, our friends and neighbors, have played a critical role in our success through your generous support of CARE's mission.

Today, CARE's therapists are finding that many of their clients' lives are being personally affected by the current troubled economy.

“When families hit hard times, often children lack the experience and maturity to handle trouble that comes their way. Children depend on their parents and other adults for nurturance.  As therapists, we have the privilege of paying attention to the little things in the lives and in the hearts of children who are struggling. We help children grow through hard times, turning struggles into strengths with the hope that our clients will live at their highest potential.”

Rio Vista CARE continues to navigate county cutbacks without compromising our professional level of care.  We take pride in being a good steward of the funds entrusted to us.  Last year, 82% of our revenue was dedicated to direct services to children, teens and families in our community.
